Water on the floor? Call 1-877-916-1136 — answered live, 24 hours, anywhere in the USA

Water where it shouldn't be? Call now.

Clogged toilet, drain backing up, pipe leaking. One call connects you with a licensed plumber taking emergency work right now — wherever you are in the United States, night, weekend or holiday.

Every minute costs more than the call does

Water rising? Do this first.

  1. Don't flush again. A second flush is what turns an overflow into a flood.
  2. Lift the cistern lid and push the flapper down. The rubber seal at the bottom of the tank. It stops water reaching the bowl immediately.
  3. Close the shut-off valve. Small tap on the wall behind or beside the toilet, near the floor. Turn it clockwise until it stops.
  4. Then call. Once the water has stopped you have time to sort it properly.

That sequence costs nothing and stops most bathroom floods before they start. If it's a sink, shower or main drain rather than a toilet you're not in a race — but a backed-up drain rarely fixes itself.

Every plumberLicensed

Insured and background-checked to our partner network's standard, and local to you.

03 · What we get called for

Emergency plumbing services

Toilets
Clogged toilet

Overflowing, rising, or refusing to flush. The plumber clears the blockage, checks the trap and the line behind it, and confirms it isn't the start of something bigger.

Drains
Drains & backups

Slow sinks, gurgling showers, waste coming up where it went down. Augered, jetted or camera-checked depending on what's causing it.

Pipes
Burst & leaking pipe

Find your shut-off valve first and stop the flow. Then a plumber repairs the line — before the ceiling, floor and drywall join the bill.

04 · How it works

From dial tone to dry floor

  1. You call. Two questions: where are you, and what's happening.
  2. You steady it. Shut-off valve, stop the flow, keep the damage small while help is on the way.
  3. A plumber is assigned. The nearest available licensed plumber on the network, with an arrival window.
  4. Fixed and explained. The plumber walks you through what failed, what was done, and what to watch.

05 · Before you agree to any work

Emergency plumbing is an easy place to get overcharged, because you're stressed and in a hurry. Three questions worth asking before anyone starts:

  • What's the call-out fee, and is it separate from the repair?
  • Is that a quote or an estimate? An estimate can move.
  • What's your licence number?

Thirty seconds of questions, and you'll know where you stand before the work starts.

the expensive part.

Every minute a line stays blocked or a pipe stays open costs more than the call does. Ring the number from anywhere in the US — worst case, you'll be told it can wait until morning.
